LAVENDER CAVES

Rise up
Here

Here at the ocean
The water's scarlet
The sun comes up like breath
And lingers in the air
It's impolite to stare

I take my perch on a handy conch
And watch a paddle launch
And turn into a sail
With a phosphorescent trail

Yeay
Rise up

I like the fishy
They're very fishy
Stand in the sand
So rich and squishy to the toes
As all the water flows

I like anemones
They're thick and sticky
I like the kelp, so slick
Yet gummy to the touch
As all the waters rush

Then when it's time for a break
We go down to the caves
Oooooooooh
Laven de de de de der

Where there are whales
in the waves
And we go down to the
Oooooooooh
Laven de de de de der

So rise up from the foam
Rise up from the foam
The rich sticky foam

Laven de de de de der
Laven de de de de der
Laven de de de de der

Here

Then when it's time for a break
We go down to the caves

Oooooooooh
Laven de de de de der

Where there whales
How many arms do you see?

Oooooooooh

One Two Three Four
Five Six
Seven
8

Here at the ocean
The sun comes down
Ah but it doesn't drown
It meets up with the foam
The creatures are all home

The water's blue
And then inky black
Our memories come back
And then they go away
And so another day

Then when we're barely awake
We go down to the caves
Oooooooooh
Laven de de de de der

Where there are waves
in the whales
And we go down to the
Oooooooooh
Laven de de de de der

So rise up from the foam
Rise up from the foam
The rich sticky foam
The rich sticky foam

Laven de de de de der
Laven de de de de der
Laven de de de de der
